Breathable Fabrics

Known variety of names such as Aerocool®, Wet no Sweat®, Ezylin®, Comfortcool®, KoolDri®, BizCool®, UltraCool®, Cool-Breathe® they are Polyester blend fabrics created using advanced fibre technology that is yarn-wicked to keep you cool as they actively draw sweat away from the skin.

Fabrics using this fibre technology are found in printed polyester, plain shirting fabrics and knitted t-shirt garments.

UPF - What does it mean?

Too much direct sunlight or Ultraviolet radiation (UV) can cause sunburn and over time may result in health problems such as skin cancer or cataracts. Clothing with an Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) rating of 40 -50+ reduces this risk.

Regardless of the UPF, you should always wear a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen when in direct sunlight for any time.

Cotton and Polyester/Cotton

Cotton is a natural fibre that is versatile and desirable due to its the positive attributes; comfort, fashionability and easy-care. Cotton fibre can be knitted into many different fabrics such as jersey, interlock, and pique that can be used in the garment production . It can also be woven and may be blended with Polyester for crisper finishes. These woven fabrics are used in blouses and shirts. Most cotton rich fabrics can be laundered at home and require minimal ironing.

Mechanical Stretch Fabrics

These are generally Polyester Viscose blend fabrics which may also have a percentage of Spandex. The fabric has been woven not knitted and will provide a 5-10% stretch if needed. They are used in Women's Jackets, Pants and skirts for extra comfort. These garments should be hand washed or dry-cleaned - check the label before laundering.

Polyester Viscose

Polyester Viscose fabrics are woven and come in a variety of weights as they can be used for dresses, and also for jackets, trousers and coats. Check labels before laundering.
